With CodaKid, student gain experience writing real code using the same tools that the pros use. We have a unique way of making our courses accessible to absolute beginner as young as age 7. We hope you'll give them a try!

What concepts will my child see in CodaKid courses?

Our coding courses teach booleans, conditionals, loops, variables, methods, arrays, switch statements, functions, and more. CodaKid classes also help boost students’ proficiency in mathematics, problem solving, and critical thinking.

Are these online courses self-paced or live?

Our online courses are self-paced and can be taken anytime – on your schedule. Students will watch HD video lessons, pause the videos, code, design, and then test their work. Our friendly instructional team is there every step of the way with awesome, award-winning support! Just use our handy chat button inside the learning platform or email the support team.

How long does it take to complete each course?

Each course can take anywhere between 30 and 60 hours to complete, depending upon the course and the child's speed.

Will these courses be too hard for young students?

Our courses are designed for children as young as 7. Children younger than 7 may take them, but may need more support from our instructors or a parent.

My child has no experience. Are these courses good for beginners?

The Level 1 courses are designed for beginner to intermediate students. Level 1 courses start off slower and ramp up steadily. Videos can be rewound and re-watched if necessary, and the video speed can be slowed down or sped up to best accommodate different speeds.

Our online instructional team is available for additional help when needed.

Level 2 courses build upon the foundation established in the Level 1 courses. It is highly recommended that students complete Level 1 courses in each course path prior to taking a Level 2 course.

My child does not fall between the ages of 7 to 15. Can he still take the course?

Yes. We have had a number of adult students as well as several students under the age of 6 take our course.

I have two children. Do I have to buy two subscriptions?

Yes. CodaKid’s online courses feature engaging, self-paced tutorials that are designed for one student per subscription.

CodaKid also provides personalized one-on-one assistance through messaging and screen share with our students, making our subscription pricing an excellent value.

CodaKid’s courses track student progress and quiz performance, and the course is designed to provide support for one final project per subscription.

If you have 5 or more students as part of your group, you can contact the CodaKid Groups Manager for special volume pricing.

Do you have a free trial?

CodaKid provides a 14 day free trial to see if you like our courses.  If you like our service, just stay on past the 14 days and your card will be automatically billed on day 14 and then every 30 days unless you decide to cancel.

If my child has a technical issue or question, how does she contact your online instructors?

CodaKid students can use the red chat icon on the bottom right corner of the CodaKid learning platform if they ever need assistance. Most issues can usually be solved quickly through this portal, however if a student requires more assistance CodaKid will host screen share sessions with customers to solve more difficult issues.

What are your support hours?
