In this beginner track, CodaKid provides foundational computer science training using MIT’s Scratch 3.0 block-based platform. Covering key coding concepts such as event listening, loops, Cartesian coordinates, conditionals, variables, and randomization, we build a series of progressively more rigorous projects that provide a solid foundation in computer programming.
CodaKid’s research-based, project based learning (PBL) approach to Scratch 1 keeps learning fun and engaging, while ensuring a solid foundation in CS
Upon completion of Scratch 1 Foundations, students will be ready to advance to Scratch 2 Foundations.
