Does my teen need prior coding experience?

No. During the strategy call, we learn about your teen’s skills and interests, then recommend a track and project scope that is ambitious but achievable.

What ages is this program for?

The Portfolio Program is designed primarily for high school students and advanced teen builders who are ready to create and launch an original technology project.

How long does the program take?

The core tracks include 12 hours of 1-on-1 mentorship. The flagship program runs for 12 months with weekly sessions.

What is the difference between this and regular tutoring?

Regular tutoring focuses on ongoing skill development and curriculum. The Portfolio Program is outcome-driven: students plan, build, launch, document, and present one flagship project.

Can this guarantee college admission?

No program can guarantee an admission decision. What CodaKid can do is help your teen produce concrete evidence of initiative and technical ability, work they can confidently discuss and share.

What if the first session is not the right fit?

CodaKid offers a first-session guarantee. If the experience is not the right fit after the first session, your family can request a refund.
